Our History
Founded in 1897, the Hudson Light and Power Department has seen tremendous growth in the demand from electricity. One of the initial attractions of bringing electricity to Hudson was the ability to llght the streets. Now, we provide power to more than 13,000 customers. Throughout the years, Hudson Light has been proud of its record of dedicated and fast service.
Hudson Municipal Light Board
Hudson Municipal Light Board: The Hudson Municipal Light Board is an elected three-member board. The Light Board’s regularly scheduled meeting is held on the the third Tuesday of the month, at 7:00 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Main Offices at 49 Forest Avenue, Hudson. The meetings are open to the public. Members are:
